James McDonald is one of horse racing’s most dominant jockeys.

The fastest rider to achieve 50 Group 1 wins, James took out the prestigious Melbourne Cup in 2021 aboard Verry Elleegant. This important victory helped secure James’ place at the pinnacle of world racing, culminating in winning the 2021 World Jockey of the Year award. In May 2021 James was inducted into the New Zealand Racing Hall of Fame.
